Overview :
Harishchandragad has something to offer in almost every season. During pre-monsoon period one can witness the cloud show and Indravajra (circular rainbow) on these clouds if weather conditions are suitable. One can do night trek and if lucky can also witness fireflies at start of the trek. Apart from this the view from Kokankada is breathtaking as always and the visit to ancient temple and Shivling to add more to the highlights of this trek. In pre-monsoon we trek from Paachnai route, which is the easiest route to reach Harishchadragad and takes less than 2 hours to reach Kokankada from base village. This is a must do trek in pre-monsoon season and can be done even by beginners.
